Rutini Wines has been Argentina’s most prestigious wine brand since 1885. Founder Felipe Rutini was a pioneer of the Argentine wine industry; under the motto “Work and perseverance” he led the family-owned winery to cultivate grapes for premium wines. In 1925, Rutini Wines was the first winery to plant vineyards in the Tupungato Valley, a world renowned wine region.
The initial Rutini Wines winery was founded in 1885 by Felipe Rutini in Coquimbito, Maipú. It was completely renovated in the 90’s with updated technology, but the original 19th century architecture was preserved. Today it is home to the Wine Museum and visitors can experience Felipe Rutini’s original home.
The new winery was designed to hold state of the art technology and produce top-quality wines on a larger scale. Under the premise of continuous innovation, Rutini Wines constructed the first walls of the new winery in the Uco Valley, Mendoza – Argentina. The dream of building a modern winery had begun 80 years ago. Today, our vineyards in the Uco Valley cover over 400 hectares with altitudes ranging from 900 to 1300 meters above sea level.
