Crizia and Rutini Wines: three gastronomic experiences

A box with fresh oysters and sparkling wine; a special menu to be accompanied by Rutini Colección Cabernet Malbec or Rutini Colección Sauvignon Blanc and a limited edition of four steps to enjoy with a Single Vineyard Malbec from Gualtallary are the exclusive creations of the restaurant and winery for discerning palates.
Gabriel Oggero, chef and owner of Crizia Restaurant Grill and Bar, y Rutini Wines have combined their talents to offer three exclusive gastronomic experiences as a gift of good times. Haute cuisine and wines of excellence: nothing better to enjoy a dinner at home with a menu of different formats. “There are three options for very different occasions. You can order them for an intimate dinner, to send as a gift to someone you love or, why not, to eat alone.
We design these boxes with innovation in mind, putting our creativity and expertise in the restaurant to the maximum. We never lose sight of the general concept that has always guided Crizia: to be in permanent contact with the producer and to exercise our commitment to traceability, sustainability and organic crops. These are not just words but the marks of our path for more than 16 years. Now the winery joins us Rutini Wines with its incredible wines that perfectly accompany each proposal”, says the chef.
Of course, there is no shortage of fresh oysters from Patagonia, which are already part of Crizia’s identity. In addition, the dishes prepared with quality products and state-of-the-art gastronomic technology are the result of the chef’s vast experience. The wine is always the protagonist and this time it is an exclusive selection of the winery for demanding palates.
OYSTER BOX RUTINI
“It is an option designed to give as a gift to lovers of the others or, why not, to treat yourself and enjoy. It is like an appetizer box: it comes with a dozen oysters. You can choose if you want them raw, au gratin or combined. There are slices of sourdough bread to serve with butter whipped with lime and echalottes vinegar. We take the oysters out of the water every Monday, we bring them from Patagonia after 15 months of aging. We transport them in a refrigerated truck, they arrive at Crizia and we carefully preserve them. The concave side always goes down, because that way the sea water they contain keeps them alive for 5 or 6 days. We repeat the process every week.
In addition, we designed very flat ices to support our delivery radius without excess cold. These flat ices go on top of the oyster box and maintain the necessary freshness to arrive in perfect condition to your home. Choose Rutini Extra Brut because I really like the nutty notes that stand out and its aging that brings out the sea flavor of the oysters”.

3-STEP MENU
This menu can be ordered for 1 or 2 people. It includes a choice of two options at each step (starter, main course and dessert). It brings Crizia’s homemade bakery and is accompanied by two wines, also of your choice: the classic Rutini Colección Sauvignon Blanc, or the refreshing Rutini Colección Cabernet Malbec. “This proposal is to highlight seasonal products, it comes with two corn breads with buffalo yogurt, sourdough bread, country pâté with homemade pickles or, you can choose grilled or raw oysters. Among the main courses, you can choose bondiola grilled over firewood or homemade portobello ravioli in a mushroom broth, and at the sweet hour comes a chocolate dessert or a dessert of pears from the Alto Valle de Río Negro that we make with vanillas and white chocolate whipped cream.
For this menu we also have weekly options that we create according to what is in season. It can be an artichoke tart, chicken with bacon and string beans, strawberries with cream. We renew it all the time. It doesn’t go in a box, we send it in NY style bags. All the food is prepared, except for the main dish, which must be regenerated at home,” Oggero explains.

TIERRA MAR FUEGO MENU (LIMITED EDITION)
This limited edition is a special design for Rutini Wines. It brings two goblets and a bottle of the delicious Rutini Single Vineyard Gualtallary Malbec. “This is the third edition of this menu. We did two others before that were called Profundidad and Tierras. It’s a four-step menu that includes two starters, two mains and two desserts, and all of Crizia’s bakery. It adds corn bread + buffalo yogurt, sourdough bread, sea tapas. For mains, sea bass, tomatoes and baby squid, on one side, or lamb, creamy + herbs. For dessert, chocolates and textures and truffles. Everything arrives ready, only the main courses are vacuum packed to be regenerated on the spot”.

Crizia’s deliveries come in biodegradable packaging and with tutorials for each menu, indicating the order of service. In addition, the restaurant offers a Whatsapp to answer any questions and also gives a playlist to enjoy during dinner. If the purchase is a birthday gift, they put together the card with the customer’s message and, as a courtesy, there is a mini-torta with a candle. Cheers!
