Outstanding characteristics of our rosé wines

Although one of the alternatives for the elaboration of a rosé wine can be from the most diverse red varieties, at Rutini we have found a special aromatic expression in the Malbec, Pinot Noir and Syrah grapes, those with which we achieve the design of a wide palette of aromas and very lively and delicate tones, pure attraction for the eye and the palate.

In order to achieve the desired results, we focus on the ripeness of the grapes and the pressing of the grapes, since determining the ideal time to harvest and pressing the berries gently, allows us to achieve vivid and natural colors.
Most of our rosé wine production is made with the Malbec variety, in different areas of the Uco Valley, which provides striking colors and is able to preserve intact the freshness of the area, with great fruit expression.

Our vocation for experimentation also means that every year we carry out trials with different varieties, analyzing what each of them can offer to our records.
Thus, in our quest for research and innovation, we have also conducted experiments with Merlot, Bonarda and Cabernet Sauvignon, although they have not yet resulted in concrete products.

In the case of our aged rosés, such as the Rutini Collection Rutini Rosé Malbec CollectionThe wine is aged in lightly toasted 500-liter oak barrels in order to increase creaminess and provide aromatic complexity, obtaining notes of coconut and vanilla in the final blend.
In addition to barrel aging, this high-end rosé is aged at low temperatures in concrete eggs and stainless steel tanks, which results in a greater contribution of fruity notes on the one hand and, on the other, in a wine that retains the secondary fermentation aromas for a longer period of time.
