Cabernet Franc Week: A Toast to Elegance
Cabernet Franc is one of the most fascinating and elegant grape varieties in the wine world. Originally from Bordeaux, France, its unique aromatic profile, with fresh red fruits and herbal and spicy touches, makes it a wine full of complexity. Grown in various regions, this variety is synonymous with freshness, sophistication and an exquisite ability to pair with different styles.
This December 4 we celebrate International Cabernet Franc Day, in honor of Armand Jean Du Plessis, Cardinal – Duke of Richelieu, one of the first to promote the cultivation of this grape variety in France, in the Loire Valley.
Today, we pay tribute to a wine that continues to captivate with its timeless elegance. In this Cabernet Franc Week, we share with you how to harmonize between dishes and flavors.

This wine stands out for its vibrant aromas of yellow cherries and a delicate smoky touch, the result of its 7 months in French oak. Ideal to accompany Creole stews such as locro or carbonada, its aging ensures a longevity of about five years. A red wine that seduces from the first moment, ideal for moments of great enjoyment. Ideal to accompany grilled meats, such as lamb or red meats, as well as dishes with fresh herbs and delicate sauces.

Its minty touch refreshes the palate, and its distinctive character unfolds beautifully with dishes such as hare in Portuguese sauce or Moroccan tajine. A red wine for the most demanding.
