Varieties are part of the wonderful diversity of the world of wine, allowing us to taste and experience different options without ever ceasing to surprise us.
\nThere are always new wines, untasted varieties and possible combinations to play with and enjoy.
\nWe share with you some white wines to get out of the rule. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

As far as wines are concerned, one can be classic and also non-traditional: there are always novelties or alternatives so as not to repeat oneself, and that is a good thing.
\nIn the wide world of <\/span>white varieties we find non-traditional grape varieties with great qualities.<\/b><\/p>\n

Pinot Grigio<\/b><\/p>\n

Also known as Pinot Gris, it is apparently a mutation of the Pinot grape.
\nIt usually gives wines of great freshness and citrus notes, although its expression depends of course on the terroir where it is grown.
\nSometimes it can have tropical notes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Trumpeter Reserve Pinot Grigio<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Wine of crystalline yellow color, with greenish and golden hues.
\nIts aromas are reminiscent of white fruits and citrus, with a fine touch of aniseed.
\nFresh and unctuous, its excellent acidity reveals a frank finish with very good persistence. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ideal with white meats such as chicken or turkey, fish such as salmon or hake, seafood or Indian food seasoned with curry.
\nIt also goes very well with salads. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gewurztraminer<\/b><\/p>\n

Its origin is Alsace, France, although it is grown in many parts of the world.
\nIt is often said to be one of the most aromatic varieties, with notes of jasmine and orange blossom, fruity notes and spices such as cloves and pepper, but it also produces full-bodied wines. <\/span> It is usually bright light yellow in color.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rutini Gewurztraminer Collection<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Bright yellow with greenish hues, very lively.
\nThe nose hints of flowers, orange blossom water, white fruits, grapefruit and a spicy touch.
\nFruity on the palate, it gives an ethereal and friendly palate, very consistent, with well balanced acidity.
\nA complex and sophisticated white wine. <\/span><\/p>\n

It can be combined with white meats such as duck or herbed chicken or even accompanied by fruits and smoked fish.
\nIt also goes very well with Asian food, whether Chinese or Japanese, Thai or Indian, dishes seasoned with curry and other aromatic spices and even spicy preparations.
\nExquisite with soft cheeses and sheep’s milk cheeses. <\/span><\/p>\n

Riesling<\/b><\/p>\n

It has its origin in the area of the Rhine River in Germany.
\nThe color of the wines of this variety is usually greenish yellow and has a strong varietal character although with variants according to the place where it is planted.
\nIt has good acidity and delicate aromas. <\/span><\/p>\n

New Rutini Riesling Collection<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

A new wine joins the proposals of white wines from non-traditional varieties in our portfolio.
\nColecci\u00f3n Rutini Riesling is a bright yellow wine with subtle greenish hues.
\nThe nose reveals aromas of citrus and green apple; notes of honey and orange blossom appear on the finish.
\nOn the palate the entry is dry, fresh and aromatic.
\nIt presents flavors in line with the aromas perceived on the nose adding a fine note of linden.
\nThe acidity achieved makes us expect an interesting longevity.
\nThe finish is long and persistent, yet refreshing. <\/span><\/p>\n

What to combine the new Rutini Riesling Collection with?<\/b><\/p>\n

Perfect with white or pink fish in dishes such as sushi or ceviche, seafood, foie gras, soft cheeses.
\nIt harmonizes very well with vegetables, especially those containing a certain natural sweetness such as red onion, some peppers, eggplants, pumpkin or carrots.
\nIt also goes very well with pork with <\/span>sauerkraut<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n
