This year, the prestigious <\/span>Descorchados Guide<\/span><\/a> by Chilean journalist Patricio Tapia has recognized some of our labels in different categories. <\/span>We share the scores obtained and recommend some<\/b> some dishes to appreciate the outstanding wines to the fullest.<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Line Box<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Grand Cabernet Sauvignon section<\/b><\/a> 2020 obtained, as in last year’s edition, no less than 96 points and was distinguished in the ranking of the best Cabernet Sauvignon.<\/b> and was distinguished in the ranking of best Cabernet Sauvignon.<\/b> Its balance and complexity make it an ideal red to enjoy with pork tamales and humita, for example. <\/span> <\/p>\n\n

Apartado Gran Malbec 2020 with 94 points is a wine of great concentration, ample fruitiness and power that pairs very well with roasted meats and hearty stews.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Apartado Gran Chardonnay 2021 was also awarded 94 points.\nIts notes of tropical fruits and its unctuousness in the mouth – due to the prolonged barrel aging – pair very well with seafood, poultry and blue cheeses or Roquefort. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

With equal performance, <\/span>Apartado Gran Blend <\/b><\/a>2020, obtained 96 points as in 2022<\/b>This is a wine that, due to its great structure and subtle tannins, harmonizes very well with lamb ravioli with truffle sauce and a touch of blue cheese. <\/span> <\/p>\n\n

Single Vineyard Line <\/b><\/p>\n\n

Both Malbecs <\/b>Single Vineyard Gualtallary Malbec<\/b><\/a> 2021<\/b> y <\/b>Single Vineyard Altamira Malbec <\/b><\/a>2021, <\/b>received high scores in this guide.<\/span> The Gualtallary Malbec 2021 received 96 points, while the Altamira Malbec 2021 received 95 points and was distinguished as one of the best wines from that terroir. <\/b>Both will be perfect <\/span>matches<\/span><\/i> for a potato and bacon terrine with a bouquet of green leaves.\nEach of these Malbecs, with their own characteristics contributed by the selected parcels of each terroir from which they originate, will elevate the gastronomic experience. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

The <\/span>Single Vineyard Gualtallary Cabernet Franc<\/b><\/a> 2021, also with 95 points and in the ranking of the best Cabernet Franc<\/b>The nose offers fragrant accents of fresh and jammy red fruit, while in the mouth its round and distinguished profile stands out.\nThis is why an accompaniment of spinach gnocchi with sun-dried tomato pesto will be a great opportunity to savor it. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

Rutini Collection Line<\/b><\/p>\n\n

In this line, the following were highlighted <\/b>Cabernet Franc<\/b><\/a> 2021, the <\/b>Malbec Ros\u00e9<\/b><\/a> 2023 and the <\/b>Gew\u00fcrztraminer<\/b><\/a> 2023, all with 94 points.<\/b> In addition, the Cabernet Franc was included in the ranking of the best of its variety and the ros\u00e9 was recognized as one of the best in its category.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Cabernet Franc is firm on the palate but round and fluid, so we suggest a chard and kale tart with chunks of tofu, portobellos and carrots.\nIn the case of the Malbec Ros\u00e9, its freshness and volume announce a wonderful combination with prawns Proven\u00e7al style.\nFinally, such a particular variety as Gew\u00fcrztraminer, with its notes of flowers, white fruits and spicy touch, would go well with a sweet and sour bondiola stuffed with smoked bacon, baked apples and pistachios. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
