Rutini Wines and Julio Le Parc: The Fusion of Art and Wine in a Unique Anthology<\/span><\/h5>\n\n

Senses in motion<\/h5>\n\n

Rutini Wines made a wine tailor-made for the great Argentine artist Julio Le Parc<\/a>.\nIt is a 2012 Malbec from the Uco Valley, with 50% grapes from Altamira<\/a> and 50% from Gualtallary.<\/a>\nAged in French oak barrels for 18 months, this wine created by winemaker Mariano Di Paola<\/a> is presented in a case inspired by the work “Desplazamientos”. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

Le Parc made this work in 1967 and it was originally exhibited at the Di Tella Institute.\nIt was later donated by the author to the Centro Cultural General San Mart\u00edn at the time of its creation, in 1970.\nWith the passing of the years and the directors of the Cultural Center, the work was moved and ended up in a basement, serving as a bookshelf.\nAfter 2000, the work was rescued from that basement and restored according to Le Parc’s instructions.\nIn 2004 it was reinagurated and the deteriorated pieces that had had to be discarded were distributed among the employees of the San Mart\u00edn, thanks to whom it had been possible to recover the piece. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

“Displacements” is a typical work of the 1960s.\nIt is one of the most interesting examples of optical and kinetic art.\nWhen observing the artifact designed by Le Parc, the viewer perceives movement thanks to the curved and refracted surfaces.\nThe sense of the work is activated by the movement of the observer, it is an interaction. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n

This wine is another form of interaction that expands the possibilities of the work. Yamil<\/a>, Le Parc’s son, was a key piece in Di Paola’s encounter with Le Parc, both mendocinian natives of Palmira.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Only 2,000 bottles of Rutini Antolog\u00eda Julio Le Parc Malbec 2012 were produced.\nThe bottle and case are a transmutation of the artistic power of Le Parc in alliance with the careful wine created by Di Paola for Rutini Wines. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

The design of this production – by Estudio Zemma-Ruiz Moreno and Yamil Le Parc – won the Silver Pentaward 2017<\/a> in Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Rutini Wines accompanied the 2018 edition of ArteBA<\/a>, the most important Contemporary Art Fair in the country with more than 400 artists on display.<\/p>\n
