First Lady of the G20 at MALBA: Rutini Wines and Exclusive Luncheon<\/span><\/h5>\n

If at the dinner in the Golden Hall of the Col\u00f3n Theater the Apartado Gran Malbec<\/a> was one of the stars of the evening, at the lunch that the First Lady offered to the companions of the world leaders during the second day of the G20, Rutini Wines deployed another variety of labels to accompany a different menu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Malba was the setting for this event, which included, in addition to lunch, the presentation by Juliana Awada of a project that unites art and childhood and a tour of part of the museum’s collection by Eduardo Constantini.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chef Fernando Trocca, assisted by Guido Tassi, Javier Rodr\u00edguez and Mart\u00edn Lukesch, was chosen to prepare the menu for the day.
\nHis bet was to include neither meats nor malbec.
\nThe menu included ingredients from all over the country.
\nThere were prawns from Puerto Madryn with tomatoes and capers, cherries from Mendoza and goat cheese with almonds, hake from Tierra del Fuego with eggplant and asparagus, and apricots from San Juan with cream.
\nAs for the wines, the challenge was to look for other high quality but not so well known grapes, such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. <\/span><\/p>\n

Trocca tried not to repeat what the first ladies had already tasted the day before with Francis Mallmann in Villa Ocampo or the menu of the evening at the Teatro Col\u00f3n.
\nIn declarations to Clar\u00edn newspaper he said: “I did not talk to Francis (Mallmann) at all. But I know him, I know what he does, I was going to go for the fires. I also imagined that others were going to make meat in much more comfortable facilities than us”.
\nThat is why he sought to propose a fresher and lighter menu.
\nRutini Wines had the privilege of providing the wines for such a special occasion: Rutini Sauvignon Blanc 2018<\/a>, more intense and with citrus touches; the Rutini Gew\u00fcztraminer 2018<\/a>; and the Antologia XLV<\/a> and Antologia XLIII<\/a>, a chardonnay and pinot noir with personality, marked by peach and melon and red fruit flavors, respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
