The prestigious Descorchados guide, led by Patricio Tapia, journalist, critic, author of specialized books and a great reference for South American wines, awarded some very good scores to our wines. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The opinion of those in the know is always very welcome news and an encouragement to quality.
\nFor that reason, we share some of the outstanding scores we obtained from the <\/span>Descorchados guide<\/span><\/a> for its 2022 edition. <\/span>Gran Chardonnay section <\/b><\/a>It was proclaimed both<\/span> best white wine and best Chardonnay, with 97 points.<\/b>.
\nEs un vino <\/span>Intense golden color with greenish reflections.
\nThe nose offers aromas of tropical fruits accompanied by notes of vanilla and honey, contributed by the time spent in barrels.
\nThe palate confirms the aromatic palette and reveals itself to be unctuous, complex and with a persistent finish. <\/span><\/p>\n

This wine has a cellaring potential of 10 years, made with 90% Chardonnay from Tupungato, 7% Semillon from Tupungato, and 3% Pinot Grigio from La Consulta.<\/span><\/p>\n

It goes very well with sea fish (white or pink salmon), lobster, spider crab, shrimp risotto, white asparagus with melted butter and prosciutto, fine herbs omelette, tuna puff pastry, seafood soups, poultry in cream sauce, cold poultry such as turkey or turkey and eye cheeses (Gruyere) or blue cheese.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe nose is complex, elegant, with notes of black olive and subtle licorice.
\nIn the mouth it is a wine of great complexity, explosive finish, balanced and with <\/span> tannins that seduce and invite to a new glass.<\/b>.<\/span>We suggest pairing it with grilled beef eye, sauced and grilled red meats, pork bondiola, roasted peppers, grilled vegetables or matured and spicy cheeses.<\/span>Altamira Single Vineyard<\/b> Malbec<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

It is a Malbec varietal, outstanding among the wines of that region with 95 points.
