Yet at the lunch the First Lady Juliana Awada offered her guests during the second day of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires, Rutini Wines deployed a whole other variety of labels to accompany a different menu. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires (MALBA)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was the stage for this event that included, in addition to the lunch, Juliana Awada\u2019s presentation of a project that links art and childhood and a visit of the museum\u2019s collection guided by Eduardo Constantini. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chef Fernando Trocca, seconded by Guido Tassi, Javier Rodr\u00edguez and Mart\u00edn Lukesch, was chosen to prepare the menu for the day. His attempt was to exclude meats and malbec. The menu included ingredients from all across the country: prawns from Puerto Madryn with tomatoes and capers; cherries from Mendoza and goat cheese with almonds; Tierra del Fuego hake with aubergines and asparagus and apricots from San Juan with cream. As for the wines, the challenge was to look for other grapes of great quality that are not so well known, such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4231 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rutiniwines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/G20_Malba_Mesa.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"401\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rutiniwines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/G20_Malba_Mesa.jpeg 1080w, https:\/\/rutiniwines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/G20_Malba_Mesa-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/rutiniwines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/G20_Malba_Mesa-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/rutiniwines.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/G20_Malba_Mesa-768x512.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 401px) 100vw, 401px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trocca tried to avoid repeating what the first ladies had already tasted the previous day with Francis Mallmann in Villa Ocampo and on the previous evening menu at Teatro Col\u00f3n. Speaking to Clar\u00edn newspaper he said: &#8220;I did not speak at all with Francis (Mallmann). But I know him, I know what he does, he was going to go for the fires. I also imagined others were going to work with meat in much more comfortable facilities than us.&#8221; That is why he sought to propose a fresher and lighter menu.
