Winemaker’s Day: the chosen ones of Rutini Wines

Every September 7, Argentina celebrates Winemaker’s Day: an occasion to recognize those who with sensitivity, technique and passion turn the grapes from our vineyards into wines that conquer palates around the world. We toast with our team and their chosen wines!

In honor of their day, we invited the Rutini Wines winemaking team to share the wines they themselves choose to toast. A selection that reveals not only their personal tastes, but also the essence of Rutini’s philosophy: to interpret each terroir with excellence and precision in a captivating way to accompany special moments.

  • Mariano Di Paola, Winemaking Director, chooses Single Vineyard Altamira Merlot, a friendly and versatile wine that he recommends to enjoy with homemade pastas with red sauces or red meats.
  • Juan Pablo Murgia, Winemaking Manager, finds in Rutini Colección Chardonnay the maximum expression of the winery’s history and spirit. His suggestion: pair it with seafood, white meats and cheeses.
  • Martina Galeano, First Winemaker, prefers the Single Vineyard Altamira Malbec, which she describes as elegant, floral, with tension and sharp tannins. Ideal with cheese, pasta or grilled red meats.

Winemaking is, in short, the art of transforming nature into memorable experiences. The words and choices of our winemakers reflect the same certainty: each style of wine and each varietal has its own charm, a reason to celebrate and enjoy. This September 7, we toast with them and to all winemakers.

Cheers!
