Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019: Top Dining Spots
Rutini Brut Nature will be the exclusive sparkling wine of the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019, to be held in Buenos Aires from October 8th to 10th. This is the first time that the Argentine capital will host this event. It previously took place in Lima, Mexico and Bogotá, with each city acting as host for two years in a row. The 2019 Buenos Aires’ edition is the seventh of this emblematic gastronomic festival that will be the meeting point for chefs, restaurant owners, journalists and references from the gastronomic world. The place chosen to unveil the 50 Best Restaurants in Latin America is the Usina del Arte. The #50BestTalks conferences, sponsored by Miele, will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Two years ago, Maido restaurant dethroned Central, which had been in first place for three successive years. In 2018 Maido regained the first place and gave Peru the maximum position for the sixth consecutive time. We will soon discover which city achieves the first position this year. Last year Buenos Aires had ten restaurants selected on the list, with Don Julio Grill in sixth place. The voting is done by more than 250 industry experts who are part of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy. In this edition, Argentine wine will have a central place. Rutini Wines is proud to accompany this gastronomic party sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
Eight Argentine restaurants were selected in the top 50 of this year: Don Julio (4), Mishiguene (20), Tegui (25), Chila (29), El Baqueano (39), Elena (45), Gran Dabbang (46), Narda Comerdor (50).
