Rutini Single Vineyard Gualtallary Malbec 2023 received 97 points and the Best in Show distinction at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026, becoming the only Argentine wine to receive this recognition and the only Malbec included among the competition’s 50 Best in Show wines.

Organized by the British magazine Decanter, the Decanter World Wine Awards bring together each year some of the world’s foremost wine experts to evaluate the most outstanding labels in the industry.

The distinction was awarded to Rutini Single Vineyard Gualtallary Malbec 2023, a wine that embodies the identity of one of the most celebrated terroirs in the Valle de Uco.

For Rutini, this recognition carries special meaning. It marks the winery’s second consecutive Best in Show. As Juan Pablo Murgia, winemaker at Rutini Wines, notes: “A Malbec from Gualtallary once again ranking among the world’s finest wines confirms the extraordinary potential of this terroir and the legacy Rutini continues to build toward the future.”

In addition to this distinction, other wines from Rutini’s portfolio were also recognized at Decanter 2026:

• Rutini Single Vineyard Gualtallary Cabernet Franc 2023 – 96 points
• Apartado Gran Merlot 2023 – 95 points
