Colagreco: An Unstoppable Trajectory towards Excellence

As if it wasn’t enough that he was the first non-French chef to be recognized as “Chef of the Year” by the prestigious Gault Millau guide in 2009.
With two Michelin stars to his credit and after being named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French government, the multi-awarded Argentine chef has just received his third Michelin star for his restaurant Mirazur.
With this award, Colagreco makes history: he is the first foreign chef to achieve the feat.
His restaurant, located in Menton, a small town on the Côte d’Azur, has become an international benchmark and is ranked third in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Despite his countless achievements and awards, Colagreco keeps his feet on the ground and approaches his task with humility and perseverance.
Michelin stars are a great compliment, but they can also be a difficult burden to bear.

At Mirazur Colagreco cooks according to the client, the products available and the mood of the day.
It is a personalized and unique experience.
What prevails is to use the products from the garden and the surrounding area at their best.
This requires an attentive and sensitive eye and enough versatility to transform each ingredient into an exceptional bite.

Colagreco has taken Rutini Wines to the top of international cuisine on numerous occasions.
We salute this new achievement and celebrate his cuisine making history.
