Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018

Bogota is preparing for the sixth edition of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants.

The renowned event sponsored by S. Pellegrino & Acqua Panna will be held on Tuesday, October 30 at the Ágora convention center, just 3 kilometers from the historic center of the Colombian capital.
As in the 2017 edition, Rutini Wines will be present at this event that celebrates the talent and diversity of Latin American cuisine.
Last year there were nine Argentine restaurants placed within the ranking of the fifty best. Tegui, in tenth place, was considered the best restaurant in Argentina for the second consecutive year.
Second place, in 13th place, was taken by Parrilla Don Julio, where Rutini Wines accompanied the legendary French chef Michel Bras on October 10.

The ceremony on October 30 promises to be full of excitement and surprises.
The city of Bogota, which also hosted the event in 2017, is ready to receive the best of Latin American gastronomy.
On Monday 29, the mood will be set with another edition of #50BestTalks in which there will be no shortage of tastings and inspiring words from the best chefs in the region.
There will be, for example, Narda Lepes, Jefferson Rueda and Édgar Núñez debating about meat consumption and the effects it has on health and the environment.
In a region characterized by a devotion to animal protein, it is time to start considering options to make this consumption sustainable and healthy.
Rutini Wines will be among the labels served during the academy’s welcome dinner, awards ceremony and #50BestTalks.
Featuring Apartado Gran Malbec 2014, Rutini Colección Sauvignon Blanc 2016 and Rutini Colección Malbec 2014.

The top winner of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 was the Maido restaurant in Lima.
The first place of the top 50 for 2018 is still an unknown.
