Rutini 4 Seasons: An Autumn of Fire, Wine and Landscape in the Uco Valley.

The Rutini 4 Seasons 2025 gastronomic cycle was inaugurated with an unforgettable sensory experience in the heart of the Uco Valley. The autumn edition brought together wine, food and nature lovers at an outdoor lunch led by renowned chef Francis Mallmann.

A celebration of terroir and seasonal cuisine

Under the clear skies of Mendoza and with the majestic Andes Mountains as a backdrop, attendees enjoyed a culinary proposal that combined Mallmann’s signature fire cooking with seasonal ingredients. Each dish highlighted the authentic flavors of the region, in perfect harmony with a careful selection of Rutini wines.

Menu of fires and expression of origin

Diners began the experience with a glass of Apartado Nature sparkling wine. The bubbles were an appetizer to start a journey of flavors and textures proposed by Mallman:

Onion piadina

Empanadas mendocinas baked in clay oven

Pumpkin and garlic soup

Black hake with ratatouille and aioli

Steak eye with mashed potato and chimichurri sauce

Burnt pionono with mascarpone

Rutini’s portfolio of wines accompanied the experience with harmony. The tasting included Apartado Gran Chardonnay 2018, an expression of complexity and lightness that received 94 points from both Patricio Tapia and Descorchados.

One of the jewels of the experience was Rutini Colección Pinot Noir 1999: the winery’s first vintage of this grape. The tasting continued with terroir expression reds such as Single Vineyard Gualtallary Cabernet Franc 2019, Single Vineyard Altamira Merlot 2014 and Apartado Gran Malbec 2012, which represent our team’s favorite varietals, parcels and vintages.

To crown the experience, Felipe Rutini 2014 was tasted, an icon of winemaking in small quantities that has earned a place in every wine lover’s cellar.

The Uco Valley: scene of memorable experiences

The Uco Valley, renowned for its excellence in wine tourism, provided the ideal setting for this celebration. Its imposing landscapes, the richness of the terroir and the warmth of its people combined to create a unique atmosphere that honored the essence of sharing and enjoying.

With this autumn edition, Rutini 4 Seasons reaffirms its commitment to offer encounters that celebrate the connection between nature, gastronomy and wine. An invitation to experience each season with all the senses.
