World Champagne Day
Although “Champagne” is a protected designation of origin, at Rutini Wines we celebrate this day by toasting with our high quality sparkling wines, inspired by the classic French recipe.
Sparkling Wine as a Perfect Pairing Ally
Sparkling wines are extremely versatile when it comes to harmonizing with food. Their elegance, low alcohol content and freshness make them great allies of multiple dishes. Whether as an aperitif, a welcome drink or to accompany a complete menu, sparkling wines provide a unique gastronomic experience.
Sparkling wines: Not Only for New Year’s Eve Parties
In Argentina, sparkling wines have become a year-round beverage. They are the ideal accompaniment to a wide range of foods: from snacks such as nuts and prosciutto to seafood, sushi, poultry and Caesar salads. They also shine with creamy or fresh fruit desserts.
Differences between Nature, Brut Nature and Extra Brut
One of the main characteristics that differentiate sparkling wines is the amount of sugar in the expedition liqueur, known as dosage, which is added after the second fermentation. Here we explain the key differences:
- Nature: Maximum of 3 g/l of sugar.
- Brut Nature: Between 3 and 7 g/l of sugar.
- Extra Brut: Between 7 and 11 g/l of sugar.
Knowing these categories will help you choose the ideal sparkling wine according to your sweetness and pairing preferences.
Sparkling Wine as a Welcome Drink
There is nothing better than starting a meeting or celebration with a glass of sparkling wine. Not only does it naturally cleanse the palate, but it also enhances the flavor of the hors d’oeuvres and dishes that follow. It is a light and refreshing option that has earned a preferential place in all kinds of social events.
